What is a Certified Nurse Administrator?
A CNA is a professional who serves the health/medicine/welfare sector through contributing to the maintenance and improvement of the quality of nursing administrators and nursing standards, so that high quality organizational nursing services can be provided to individuals/families/community residents with diverse health needs.
Required qualifications
Those individuals who have five or more years’ total work experience as either a Public Health Nurse, Midwife or Nurse and who have a Master’s Degree, who specialized in Nursing Administration (Master’s course) at this university, and additionally those who have three or more years’ experience as a nursing administrator in a clinical setting, may undertake the Japanese Nursing Association certification assessment.
