Graduate School Information Session Held

投稿日:

On Friday, May 29, a joint Graduate School Information Session was held at Ishikawa Prefectural Nursing University by the Department of Adult Nursing, the Department of Gerontological Nursing, the Collaborative Research Chair of Nursing Engineering, and the Collaborative Research Chair of Well-being Nursing.

The event was conducted in a hybrid format, combining both face-to-face and online participation. Many participants attended the session, including nursing professionals working in clinical settings and undergraduate students of our university.

During the session, Professor Chizuko Konya, Dean of the Graduate School, provided an overview of the graduate program. In addition, graduate students gave presentations about their experiences in graduate school. Mr. Tomohiro Watanabe, a graduate student belonging to our research chair, also shared his experiences as a senior graduate student, including his motivation for pursuing graduate studies and what he has learned through his academic activities.

In the free discussion session that followed, participants asked various questions regarding preparation for the entrance examination, interview strategies, balancing research activities with student life after enrollment, and other topics. Faculty members and graduate students responded based on their own experiences, leading to active and meaningful discussions.

The session also provided us with a valuable opportunity to interact directly with prospective students and hear their thoughts and questions about graduate study.

The second Graduate School Information Session is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, November 3 (national holiday). We hope this event will provide another opportunity for prospective students to deepen their understanding of learning and research activities at our graduate school. We sincerely look forward to welcoming everyone who is interested in pursuing graduate studies at our university.
