On Friday, September 4, and Saturday, September 5, 2026, we attended the 28th Annual Congress of the Japanese Society of Pressure Ulcers, held in Nara, where two research presentations were delivered from our Joint Research Course in Well-Being Nursing.

Ishikawa Prefectural Nursing University is home to President Hiromi Sanada, who has long been a leading figure in the field of skin and continence care, as well as many Certified Nurses in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing and faculty members and graduate students engaged in research related to this field. Many faculty members and graduate students from our university attended the congress, sharing their research findings and clinical practices from their respective areas of expertise. The congress also provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and build connections with healthcare professionals, nurses, and researchers from across Japan.

Our Joint Research Course presented the following two studies.

The 29th Annual Congress of the Japanese Society of Pressure Ulcers is scheduled to be held in Hakodate next year.
