Annual Report Meeting of the Department of Well-being Nursing Held
On Tuesday, April 21, we held the Annual Report Meeting of the Department of Well-being Nursing (Collaborative Research Course) at our university.
On the day of the event, we welcomed representatives from Molten Corporation, as well as faculty members from the University of Tokyo, Fujita Health University, and Yokohama City University, with whom we conduct joint research. We presented reports on our research on wheelchairs and mattresses, as well as on the research activities and social contribution initiatives carried out by our department.
Following the report meeting, a roundtable discussion was held with members of Molten, along with undergraduate students engaged in graduation research and graduate students from our department. Active discussions took place on topics such as the manufacturing processes of mattresses, their application in clinical settings, and the purpose and significance of industry–academia collaborative research. Participants also gained valuable insights into the innovations and perspectives of the corporate side, which are not typically accessible in clinical practice.
Our department has now entered its third year since its establishment. We will continue to further develop our research activities with the aim of extending the well-being life expectancy of older adults receiving care at home.
