Participation in the 19th Annual Meeting of the Society of Nursing Practice: One Research Presentation from Our Joint Research Course

投稿日:

On Saturday, October 3, 2026, we attended the 19th Annual Meeting of the Society of Nursing Practice, held in Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture, where one research presentation was delivered from our Joint Research Course in Well-Being Nursing.

Many faculty members and alumni of Ishikawa Prefectural Nursing University also attended the meeting and presented their research findings. Lively discussions were held on a wide range of studies grounded in nursing practice. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to reflect once again on the importance of translating everyday nursing practice into research and applying research findings back to clinical practice.

Our Joint Research Course presented the following study:

The 20th Annual Meeting of the Society of Nursing Practice is scheduled to be held in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, next year.

We were also deeply saddened by the recent passing of Professor Katsuko Kanagawa, the founding president of Ishikawa Prefectural Nursing University, who played an instrumental role in establishing the Ishikawa Nursing Research Association, the predecessor of the Society of Nursing Practice.

Professor Kanagawa made significant contributions to the development of the Ishikawa Nursing Research Association and, over many years, to the advancement of nursing science and nursing practice. As the Society reaches its 19th annual meeting and continues to grow as a forum where nursing professionals and researchers come together to learn from one another and advance nursing practice, we are reminded that this legacy rests on the foundations built by Professor Kanagawa and many other dedicated pioneers.

With our deepest respect and gratitude for Professor Kanagawa’s many contributions, we extend our heartfelt condolences and sincerely pray for her peaceful rest.
