On Friday, June 12, 2025, first-year students from Ishikawa Prefectural Nonoichi Meirin High School visited the laboratory of our course as part of a campus tour at Ishikawa Prefectural Nursing University. During the visit, we introduced several of the technologies used in our research, including a communication robot, a state-of-the-art wheelchair, and a wheelchair cushion that automatically adjusts pressure. The students were given a glimpse into some of the research initiatives undertaken in our course. Through the tour, the students showed great interest in emerging approaches to nursing that make use of advanced technologies, as well as research that integrates nursing and engineering, and listened attentively throughout the visit.
