On Wednesday, May 20, first-year students from Ishikawa Prefectural Anamizu High School visited Ishikawa Prefectural Nursing University and toured our course.

During the visit, Professor Masaru Matsumoto introduced the research and educational activities conducted in our course. The students then had the opportunity to experience cutting-edge wheelchairs and communication robots, through which they learned about new approaches to nursing that integrate nursing and engineering.

The students listened with great interest while actually interacting with the equipment, and they were very enthusiastic throughout the visit. It was impressive to see how surprised and interested they were in the use of technology in the field of nursing.

We hope this visit will serve as an opportunity for the students to think about their future career paths, develop an interest in becoming nursing professionals, and learn more about the emerging field of nursing engineering.
