International Exchange
Collaboration with the University of Washington
On March 31, 2003, Ishikawa Prefectural Nursing University established an Agreement for Academic Cooperation and Exchange with the University of Washington School of Nursing in the United States. The Agreement entailed the following:
- Promotion of academic exchange among teachers
- Promotion of academic exchange among students
- Exchange of scholarly literature and information
- Actively working together toward collaborative research activities, conferences, etc.
Establishing a Memorandum with the University of Washington *Japanese Only
On October 16, 2012, the two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding, based on the 2003 Agreement for Academic Cooperation and Exchange, as a renewal of this continuing relationship of friendship.
Activities for the 2014–2015 Academic Year
Ishikawa Prefectural Nursing University invited Professor Noel J. Crisman from the University of Washington School of Nursing for a variety of exchange activities.

- Graduate Lecture for International Nursing: Community-Based Participatory Research
- Private Instruction for Graduate Students
- Lecture for In-house Teaching Staff: University of Washington Community Health Nursing Program
