Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Washington
On October 16, 2012, Kazuko Ishigaki, President of the Ishikawa Prefectural Nursing University, visited the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, U.S.A. and signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with School of Nursing Interim Dean Pamela Mitchell.
The agreement renews the long-standing friendship between the universities, established in March 2003 by the signing of the Agreement for Academic Cooperation and Exchange, and will enhance the foundation for further exchange as well as strengthen future relations.
Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The College of Nursing, Chonbuk National University, South Korea
On the 17th of November 2014, Ishikawa Prefectural Nursing University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The College of Nursing, Chonbuk National University, South Korea, to promote educational and academic exchange and cooperation.
Next year, Ishikawa Prefectural Nursing University is planning to send students to train in South Korea for the purpose of nurturing global individuals. We were referred to Chonbuk National University (where the students will be placed) by North Jeolla Province, with which Ishikawa Prefecture has an International Partnership. In the midst of making training arrangements with the College of Nursing at Chonbuk National University, the University requested that we sign a Memorandum of Understanding.
Hereafter, we will work towards promoting and developing cooperation in areas such as the interaction between staff, researchers and students, the exchange of academic materials/publications and information, and the implementation of joint research and academic conferences.
