Degrees Awarded and Requirements for Completing the Programs

Master’s Program

The degree of Master of Nursing Science is awarded to those who meet the following requirements: a minimum of 30 credits earned through at least two years’ attendance of the Master’s program. In addition, a graduate thesis must be submitted and accepted, and candidates must pass the final examination.

Doctoral Program

The degree of Doctor of Nursing Science is awarded to those who meet the following requirements: 2 credits earned for completion of a doctoral thesis and 8 or more credits earned in exercising practicums in the specialty field, through at least three years’ attendance of the Doctoral program. In addition, a doctoral dissertation must be submitted accepted, and candidates must pass the final examination.
